Welcome to the online presence of St-Ives based ceramics artist Tamsyn Trevorrow.

My work explores the interaction between the land and sea. Fascinated by the ever-changing landscape sculpted by the elements I try to capture this through colour, form and texture. This partly stems from growing up in Cornwall as well as travelling abroad. Cornwall is a beautiful yet rugged landscape surrounded by the coast, here investigating the many beaches, isolated coves has spurred my inspiration.

The inspiration for my work is derived from these various aspects, the shoreline, aerial views, rock formations, pools, crags and lines, texture, found objects, erosion and decay.
